I was so happy that I got a chance to edit this one of a kind book with the author Jerry Aurum himself. Celebrating 20 years of his work, he published Hampir Fotografi, a book discusses many aspects in photography that people are likely to miss since they are too caught up with technical matters.

Jerry rocks this out in a book of 30 chapters using his 70 best images which some are not published yet.

“We can never be absolutely proficient (on photography), we cannot fully understand it, we cannot master it all the way. All is just ‘almost’,” said Jerry.

Hence the title, ‘hampir’ Indonesian word for ‘almost’. A fun (almost) photography book from a good friend of mine. Do read if you have time and want to learn happen to speak Indonesian.
