During this one day course, we are going to practise with telling stories. How do you bring it, do others buy it?  You’ll learn how to attract colleagues, customers or business partners as followers, get them enthusiastic and eventually become ambassadors. This three day course explains how to harness the power of storytelling in your PR campaigns. Your PR campaign needs a powerful storytelling because of these three important characters of PR:

  • it breaks the news (a new product, new category, etc)
  • it goes deeper than paid media
  • it ultimately connects the dots: bridging a brand and its audience

In this course you are going to learn how to:

  • create stories
  • boost your brand with storytelling 
  • how to grip your audience: tips and techniques from journalism
  • how to use storytelling to get the attention of journalists
  • how to build a PR editorial calendar using your ‘story’ and using the right channels

How do you make sure your messages amplify each other and how do you make sure your brand messages resonate with your audience. Basically you’ll come out as a more confident consultant who is able to construct, sell and execute story-based PR campaigns.

Internal communications teams can build trust and increase engagement by nurturing people’s innate instinct for story. In this course we are going to find the company’s story you want to share with your staff to communicate with them on a  more personal level. When people understand you, feel connected to you, and sense the authenticity of the emotions you project, you’ll easily get them on board.

In this course you are going to learn how to:

  • find great stories from around the world and inside your organisation that you can use to deliver your message
  • make stories relevant to your organisation
  • interview people from your company to draw out the personal and engaging details for your stories
  • share your stories and through which channels

You’ll learn how to get the staff to share the company’s goals and understand your priorities. You’ll also be able to conduct a two ways internal communications between company and staff. Don’t forget, they’re the closest to your customers or clients, so they’ll give you the valuable input to optimize your performances. This way of communication will eventually drive engagement among staff.
